Just a heads up if you’re thinking about buying this — the wrist and ankle seals started leaking way sooner than I expected. The fit seemed fine at first, but it really didn’t hold up. Frustrating considering how much it costs. I definitely wouldn’t buy it again

I could barely paddle in it. My arms just felt stuck, stuck the whole time, which made it frustrating to use.

I got my order from Matuse, and the item itself was totally fine, so I don’t want to make it sound like a huge issue. But the box did look a bit rough on one corner, and the tape was already starting to come loose, which made me wonder if I’m the only one who’d be a little bothered by that.
Nothing was damaged, thankfully, but for the price, I guess I just expected the packaging to feel a bit more secure and put together. It wasn’t awful or anything, just kind of average, you know?

I checked out matuse.com because the brand looked nice at first, and I was interested. But the more I looked around, the less sure I felt. I was hoping the site and the info would make me feel more comfortable, but it just didn’t really get me there.
For the prices they’re charging, I need to feel confident before entering my card details. Maybe other people have had a better experience, but I felt disappointed and ended up deciding not to order...

I did eventually get a reply from customer service, but it took quite a while. I get that things can get busy, but the wait was frustrating, and I would’ve appreciated at least a quick apology for the delay.

It fits really nice and snug, ain’t no loose spots or weird gaps. Pretty much exactly what I was hoping for.

Right out of the package, my first impression was that the sizing was just not going to work. I ordered my usual size from Matuse and even checked the size chart beforehand, but the fit wasn’t even close. It was way too tight in certain areas and oddly loose in others, which made it feel really inconsistent. For the price, I expected the sizing to be a lot more dialed in. Having to return it was an extra hassle I really didn’t want, i wouldn’t buy again.

I wanted to feel good about buying this because it seemed like the greener option, but the claims are vague. It says all the right things, I guess, but there isn’t much detail to back it up, so I’m not totally convinced...

I ordered from matuse.com and the color was actually close to what I saw online. It’s maybe a little darker in person, but not enough that I’d consider returning it or anything. Compared to some other brands I’ve ordered from, the photos felt more accurate, which I appreciated. The fit and material are solid too. I’m just taking off one star because I was expecting it to be slightly brighter, but overall I’m happy with it.

It’s a nice-looking design overall, but it felt a little too plain for my taste. The colors are super muted, almost like all the energy got drained out of it. I was expecting something fresher and more exciting, so it just wasn’t my style...

Overall, I’ve been happy with this neck seal. It felt comfortable during a longer session and didn’t really rub or irritate my skin much. It was definitely a bit tight when I first put it on, though it loosened up and felt better once I was in the water. Not a dealbreaker, but the initial snugness feels like something preventable with a slightly better fit. Good overall, just not quite perfect.

At first I was like, wow, this zipper is actually smooth and works nicely. Then it stuck a little and I immediately got annoyed, but it hasn’t been a big deal so far. Overall, still works fine.

I was surprised by how quickly my Matuse suit dries. I hung it up after a morning surf, and a few hours later it wasn’t still dripping wet like my old one usually is. Makes surfing back-to-back days way less of a hassle. Happy with it so far.

i picked up a matuse wetsuit for colder water, and it definitely does the job in terms of warmth. the thickness feels solid, and i don’t really have any complaints there.
the main thing i noticed is that it feels heavier than i expected, especially after i’ve been in the water for a while. it’s not awful or anything, but it’s just not as light or easy-feeling as i was hoping.
overall, the quality seems good and it keeps me warm, but for the price i expected it to feel a little better to move around in. decent suit, just not quite what i hoped for. 3 stars

I had already checked a couple other places and was getting kind of annoyed because nobody had the wetsuit size I needed. Then I went on matuse.com and, okay, mood totally changed, they actually had it in stock. The site was simple enough to get through, and I didn’t have to sign up for some restock alert or wait around. Ended up being painless, and I’d definitely order from them again...

I did get my order in the end, but the shipping was literally slow. Everything arrived fine, just took longer than I was expecting

I ordered a medium top and somehow a large showed up instead. Kind of frustrating, because I was excited to wear it right away. Support was actually helpful and got it sorted out, so that was nice. Still, having to wait all over again was annoying.

Well... it’s not bad at all, just not quite as nice as I was expecting. The material feels okay and it works fine, but it’s a little thinner than I hoped...

Finally, a wetsuit that doesn’t feel like a full workout just to get into. I think a lot of us have dealt with the struggle of squeezing into one, so this was such a nice change.

I had to switch my wetsuit for another size, and it was easier than I expected. I don’t remember all the details, but the reply took a few days and then they got it sorted and sent out the right one. No big hassle
